Join us Tuesday, Oct. 20, for an evening of girls varsity volleyball, school spirit and PINK! Pack the bleachers, wear your pink and cheer on our teams. Baked goods will be available for purchase, too!

Help Austin Catholic High School bring a 3D scanner to our STEAM program! Our students use hands-on learning and 3D printing to design prosthetic arms for children in need and develop 3D-printed wheelchairs.

$750,000 Gift Expands Access to Austin Catholic!
Applications for the 2027-2028 School Year Now Open
A transformative $750,000 gift to Austin Catholic High School will expand access to a Catholic, college-preparatory education by providing need-based tuition assistance to incoming students and their families.
The anonymous gift arrived in alignment with the Austin Catholic 2027-28 admissions application process which opened on October 1. This represents a significant opportunity for families who may have considered Catholic education but questioned whether it was financially possible.
The generosity reflects the Augustinian spirit at the heart of Austin Catholic — a commitment to Truth, Unity and Love and to investing in the lives of others and the future of the community.
“This extraordinary gift from parents of alumni is a testament to the life-changing impact Austin Catholic has made on their children,” said President Allison Hoover. “Their immense generosity shows how deeply our mission resonated with their whole family, inspiring an investment that will strengthen our school and serve future generations of students.” Read the press release here.

MANS Faith-Based Educator Award Winner Mr. Slanczka
Congratulations to Mr. Frank Slanczka, ACHS Fine Arts Department, who is a recipient of a 2026 MANS Faith-Based Educator Award!
Nominated by Principal Carolyn Balzano, Mr. Slanczka has been recognized for exemplifying the very best in faith-based education and his unwavering commitment to the academic and spiritual growth of Austin Catholic High School students.
We are blessed to have Mr. Slanczka on our staff. He is an integral part of our outstanding teaching community and truly embodies our Augustinian values of Truth, Unity and Love. Congratulations, Mr. Slanczka! We are so proud of you!
Rooted in Community, Called to Serve
Over the weekend, our very own Mr. Langolf and his family traveled to Maryland to visit relatives and spent a day in Washington, D.C., taking in many of the city’s historic sights.
Before the trip, Mr. Langolf reached out to Abigail, an Austin Catholic Class of 2026 alumna currently serving at the U.S. Naval Academy, to see if she was available to meet. On Sunday, they had the opportunity to meet Abigail, her dad and sister in Annapolis for ice cream and spend a couple of hours catching up on her experiences at the Academy.
It was a special opportunity to reconnect, hear about Abigail’s journey, and celebrate her growth and commitment to service. Mr. Langolf and his family are incredibly proud of Abigail, and Austin Catholic is proud of Mr. Langolf for his dedication and commitment to staying connected with and supporting members of the Austin Catholic community.
His willingness to invest in our alumni and continue those relationships beyond graduation is a beautiful reflection of our Augustinian values. We are grateful for the connections that make the Austin Catholic community so special—and proud to see those connections continue to grow.
