Safe Environment
Protecting God’s Children / Called to Serve
The Archdiocese of Detroit takes seriously every allegation of sexual abuse and exploitation. We are committed to protecting children and adults from harm. Our Safe Environment program is in place to help prevent sexual abuse within our community and to heal the wounds of past victims.

OK2SAY: A Safe Way to Speak Up
OK2SAY is Michigan’s student safety program that gives students a confidential way to report concerns about potential harm or criminal activity involving students, school employees or schools.
The program creates a communication network that connects students, parents, school personnel, community mental health programs, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and law enforcement. Together, these partners can share information and respond to concerns that may threaten the safety and well-being of our school community or disrupt the learning environment.
Most importantly, OK2SAY gives students a trusted way to speak up when something doesn’t feel right.
