Affording Austin
Austin Catholic High School and the ACHS Board of Directors have made it their mission to make Catholic education affordable for all students. We offer a wide range of grants, scholarships, and discounts to help bridge the gap between your financial resources and the cost of an Austin education.
GRANTS
- Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Grants
All Catholic families, and a limited number of non-Catholic families, in the Archdiocese of Detroit, are eligible for the grant.
FACTS Grant and Aid application must be complete and verified by the deadline. Deadline for the 2025-26 school year: to be announced.
Archdiocese of Detroit tuition grants are determined by Facts calculated by the family/student need.

All prospective Austin students are eligible to receive a tuition grant.
FACTS Grant and Aid application must be completed and verified.
Grant awards are based on financial need demonstrated through the FACTS application. The total amount varies each fiscal year and is based on the number of applicants and funds available.
Only one FACTS Grant and Aid application is needed to apply for both the Austin Catholic High School tuition grants and the Archdiocese of Detroit tuition grants. Please click the link below.

ALLIANCE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION
Alliance Catholic Foundation is awarding $25,000 in scholarships to students that will be attending a Catholic High School League school in the 2026-2027 academic year. For the complete list of schools, please reference The Rules. Ten students will receive scholarships! This opportunity closed 12/06/25. Check back in October 2026 for new opportunities.
THE ASSIGNMENT: In honor of the Jubilee Year theme, Pilgrims of Hope, visit one of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s twelve local pilgrimage sites*, submit a photo from your visit, and perform one of the other ACTION activities** (Works of Devotion, Works of Mercy, or Works of Penance). Then, write a short reflection about why you chose that site and activity and what you learned from your experience. Additionally, tell us about a pilgrimage site anywhere in the world you hope to visit someday and why.
TUITION ASSISTANCE & SCHOLARSHIPS - DETROIT CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
- Through the generosity of donors to the Stewards for Tomorrow Campaign, an endowment fund was created which provides tuition assistance grants to our Catholic families, as well as a limited amount of funds to non-Catholic families.
- Each year, awards will be made to offset tuition expenses for children of Catholic families who establish need and who both reside within the Archdiocese of Detroit AND whose children attend the traditional kindergarten through 12th grade in Catholic schools located within the boundaries of the Archdiocese of Detroit.

- 2026-2027 AOD Tuition Assistance Application: The 2026-2027 AOD Tuition Application opens on Monday, December 15, 2025. The application will close February 27, 2026.
ANCHOR BAY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
- The Anchor Bay Community Foundation is proud to be able to offer a series of scholarships to graduating high school students who intend to continue their studies in higher education. These scholarship funds were created by generous donors to provide financial assistance for students pursuing higher education and training.
- Kindergarten through college families residing in Macomb County, who have difficulty affording a Christian education for their child.
